Macworld online has some good tips about keeping your children safe on the Internet.ﾃつ We should all tell our children not to download items from P2P (peer-to-peer file sharing) sites; you can get some really bad things from those sites.ﾃつ Let’s not talk about the moral issues, because most of the content is illegal at these sites.ﾃつ So by talking with your children should be the first thing you should do, to keep your children and computer safe (and maybe your wallet).ﾃつ After talking to your children, you may want to look at some software that will block some sites and will let you know if your children are trying access sites that they should not.ﾃつ You can read more about the software at Macworld.ﾃつ Now since we live in the UAE, Etisalat has done a good job (maybe too good, sometimes), at blocking bad sites.ﾃつ That said, we still need to educate our children about the net, and how to surf responsible.
